TITLE: The VP of Western Sales, USA.


  • Sales Operations: The VP of Western Sales is responsible for managing the day to day sales operations for each market segment of the Football business in the Western Region of the US: NFL, College, High School and Youth/Pee Wee Football

  • Lead Generation and Customer Management: The VP of Sales will deliver lead generation, sales and profitability targets for the Football business in the Western Region of the US. The VP of Sales will build new relationships and harness their existing network, to anchor key long term customer relationships with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Equipment Managers and Booster Clubs.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Team: The VP of Sales will work with the in-house marketing team to maximize ROI from our digital marketing strategies, our 3rd party Clinics, and Events to ensure sales targets are delivered.

  • Drive Brand Standards: The VP of Sales will capitalize on our brand, as a leader and innovator in Football, consistent with Shadowman Sports brand strategy, highlighting our superior product manufacturing and performance.

  • Sales Metrics: The VP of Sales will develop & execute strategies using sales internal data to drive growth in new and existing market segment opportunities.

  • Sales Reports: The VP of Sales will be responsible for annual and quarterly sales forecasts by product and by market segment.


  • Develop and deliver sales strategies, per product, per market segment.

  • Deliver quarterly sales and profitability targets, per product, per segment.

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts per product, per segment.

  • Build and anchor customer relationships at the buyer level and facilitate relationships in other influential areas.

  • Manage and grow ambassador program to support sales efforts.

  • Drive the consultative / hands on sales approach, to increase customer growth and evangelists.

  • Use sales data & information systems to drive market share, sales, and profits.

  • Lead the process for managing trade shows and specific customer programs.

  • Identify, negotiates and manage deals with key partners within the Western territory, to create high-value partnerships by enforcing a "win-win" strategy.

  • Collaborates with industry marketing service providers to establish our brand superiority.

  • Willingness to take on further responsibilities as our company grows.

SUPERVISE OTHERS: Yes, manage commission based sales reps.


  • 5+ years in Football Industry Sales or Football Equipment Industry.

  • Robust Football Network with an active list of contacts.

  • Proven Record of Persuasive Sales Ability, Follow Through & Negotiation Skills.

  • Strong enterprise software skills preferred, or willingness to develop skills in Google Office Suite, CRM tools etc.

  • Willingness to develop with a technology driven company, particularly with Customer Relationship Management.

  • Experience with a minimum $1M book of business.

  • Ability to lead and grow ambassadors and evangelists.

  • Background in dealing with selling “the bag” of multiple products across many segments:  NFL, College, High School and Youth Football / Pee Wee.

  • Proven record of analytical skills, acute attention to sales data.

  • Ability to work with a cross functional team, across multiple time zones.

  • Self-motivated, with an ability to foresee and buy into our Company's vision.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fluid high growth environment.

  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to present sales data in an organized manner.

  • Ability to communicate with customers and leads, in the technology driven environment, text, emails, chat box.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks ( e.g. events ) and assignments ( e.g. sales follow through ) simultaneously.

  • 30-40% out of the office travel ( clinics, events, customer and lead on-site visits ).

  • Full Driver's License.

  • Bachelor's / University degree.
